I feel that the BRT blog has been neglected a little of late so whilst the heating is on and it’s nice and warm in here, now seems like a good time to fill you in on the BRT news!

Traditionally, the November social meeting is Vice Chairman’s night and 2010 was no exception to this. Mr Hussey, being a traditional type of fella, and a stalwart for Round Table tradition, did us all proud…  in traditional BRT style, managing not to organise anything until the 11th hour..! however, also in traditional BRT style, it sort of worked! In his defence, I understand that there were other choices for his social evening that for reasons unknown didn’t work out, so he was rather left in the lurch…

The Original Noise Studio, South St. Bridport was our outing for the night. A small, informal recording studio hidden away down an alley way above a funeral directors, I suppose if you’re intending to have noisy bands playing at all hours, the neighbours there are less likely to complain!

Whilst we’re on a traditional theme, the first weekend of December has always been reserved for Mr Frys erection, as you may be aware that at his age there wont be many more for him.

That’s right, Bridport Round Table has provided the town with a Christmas tree in Bucky Doo Square for many years now and long standing BRT member Mr Fry has traditionally arranged the supply and organised the erection, and this year, unfortunately will be his last as the magic 45 is creeping his way…

I’ll post a picture in the gallery once the tree is lit…

And finally… don’t forget that our next event is fast approaching…
